Miracle on the Hudson Ariplane


'Miracle on the Hudson' The US Airways jet that made the famous landing in NYC will make its final stop in North Carolina. This time the trip is by road on the back of a large truck.  Reportedly that the plane was rolled out of a warehouse in New Jersey and will travel to North Carolina where it will be displayed at the Carolinas Aviation Museum.


Sullenberger touched the plane down in the Hudson River and all passengers and crew were safely rescued. 
The trip to North Carolina is expected to take about one week.

Accompanied by police cars and film crews, many stopped to take pictures and remember the events of the landing as the truck traveled through New Jersey. US Airways Flight 1549 was bound for Charlotte, North Carolina on January 15, 2009, when it lost engine power after striking a flock of geese.
